Cost of trading S&P500 emini futures
If you are considering day trading the S&P500 emini futures there are some basic costs you need to look at.
These are the costs we look at in our S&P500 day trading course.
Broker: your broker determines your Round trip costs of trading and the amount of margin necessary for trading one contract. For the beginning trader your can expect to pay between $4.25 to $5.00 per contract trading. This will normally include exchange fees. There are many brokers available, google emini futures broker and you will see quite a number offered.
Platform:
there are many platforms available on the market. We use Ninja Trader as this is one of the easiest platforms to use on the marketplace. Ninja traders platform is visually easy to operate with a price ladder running up and down.
The price ladder runs throught the middle with active order place ment on either side.
The ninja trader platform can be rented monthly for around $65 or purchased for around a $900.
