- S&P 500 Emini Day Trading Gap Thursday December 10, 2009
S&P Emini 500 Futures opened without a gap today. The market traded mostly within yesterday’s trading range, dipping to a lower low, and closing at the high end of the range. Today’s close, 1094.75, matched the November 30th close which had been an open gap until yesterday. Tomorrow morning, pre market, unemployment reports will be released, and those reports typically infuse volatility into the market. For clues as to market direction, check pre market volume and price action. Pre market volume over 300,000 contracts prior to the open indicates probability of good market action.
